PHOTOS: Night of the Walking Red, 2014

On Oct. 1, 2014, approx. 125 gingers assembled for the Annual Meeting of the League of Extraordinary Red Heads and marginally symbolic “Toast of the Coppertops,” at Brown’s Brewing Co. in Troy, NY to mark the first batch of Pumpkin Ale and the arrival of autumn in the Hudson Valley.

The evening featured a special mayoral proclamation in the League’s honor and a musical tribute to red heads by Jack Casey. The League appointed Margaret Young to the prestigious position of "The High Ginger." Photographers Andy Kainz and Neil Grabowsky were on hand to document the evening.
